Future Cheerleaders


My granddaughters, Cailey and Mia, are registered in a cheerleading class at the local YMCA. The photo above is from a series of pictures the Des Moines Register posted on their Website.

They really had fun and learned a lot. Their teachers were local high school girls and they did great! "Gimme a V, dot that i, rock that c-t-o-r-y!" they came home chanting, though they didn't quite spell the ending right. They've been wanting to do "Pom Pom Cheer Cheer" (as they call it) for awhile.
